Systems, Documentation and Dissemination
The documentation and dissemination of information and lessons are an integral part of AME’s functions. Databases are maintained to monitor various programmes. Information resources have been built up in various media. AME is also in the process of creating interactive computerized databases of technologies.
AME has brought out publications such as workshop proceedings, studies, radio talks, field guides and manuals, working papers and articles. Some of them are in local languages. AME is also publishing LEISA India magazine in collaboration with ILEIA, Netherlands. The crop working group meetings as well as AME’s strategies, success stories and field days have been covered in the press, from time to time.
