Special collaboration project:

Greening the Dryland: AMEF has initiated a three year programme ‘Greening the Dry Land (GDL)’ in Raichur and Mahabubnagar districts. The focus in GDL is on developing innovative Sustainable Agriculture model through ‘ tree-based farming system’. The model is expected to serve purposes like generating biomass for manuring, fodder, fuel and income. It is an effort to assist ENPs to develop Sustainable Agriculture model by motivating farmers to grow trees and improve soil productivity. The programme is in partnership with BIRD-K, which is a resource agency.
